About Rosalie

Over the past few years, I’ve greatly enjoyed working in the life science and pharmaceutical sectors. Still, I felt something was missing, though for a long time I couldn’t put my finger on what. When I was asked to host an internal event for ~150 colleagues from the stage at my previous employer, I knew: this is what I want to do one day.

I didn’t expect that moment to come just over six months later, but the arrival of my son got me thinking: the extra flexibility of working as a freelancer would be very convenient at this point in my life.

And just like that, after my maternity leave, I registered Willemsen Business Services with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce. Since then, I’ve been available as a conference moderator for corporate events and as an interim professional in life sciences. I’ve loved every minute of it.

What makes me unique is my international background. I’ve moved 15 times in my life and have lived in Singapore, England, the Netherlands, Belgium and Scotland. All those moves have made me quick to adapt to new environments and open-minded. So an international workplace or event is no problem for me. Quite the opposite!

I also bring my academic background and 7 years of work experience in the life sciences. This is useful at scientific conferences and, of course, in my interim assignments, especially as I already have an established network.

Those who know me well know that I love social activities, dancing and pretty much anything that’s new to me. I live in central Amersfoort with my husband and son.

Now you know me a little better, and I’d love to get to know you too. Get in touch via the contact page. Hope to talk soon!
